Battery Instructions
Switch product off before inserting batteries. Open the battery compartment to insert batteries. Replace the cover and ensure it is secured. Make certain +/- polarity is correct. Clean battery contacts before installing. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Waste electrical products / batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. Remove batteries if they no longer have charge or if batteries are left unused for long periods of time. Please contact your local authority for special handling methods to prevent any pollutants escaping into the environment.
